Research On Characteristic Words Of Guanzhong Dialect In Jia Pingwa’s Works

Jia Pingwa is an authentic Guanzhong writer.He used his hometown,Danfeng County,Shaanxi Province as the source of his creation,and used the authentic Guanzhong dialect as construction materials to create a series of popular literary works such as "Qin Opera" and"Abandoned Capital".This article uses Jia Pingwa’s three representative novels "Qin Opera","Abandoned City" and "Happy" as the source of corpus,combined with Chinese dialect lexical theory and related knowledge of dialect characteristic words,conduct a comprehensive investigation and research on the characteristic words of Guanzhong dialect in Jia Pingwa’s works.There are five chapters in this article,excluding the introductory and concluding sections.The first chapter first briefly introduces Jia Pingwa’s life,and then discusses dialect writing and Jia Pingwa’s creation.Dialect writing has a long history,and Jia Pingwa’s ability to write in dialect proficiently is not only related to his long-term life experience in the countryside,but also limited by the subject matter and content of his creation.The second chapter is to classify and describe the characteristic words of Guanzhong dialect in Jia Pingwa’s works.There are 124 characteristic words in Guanzhong dialect in writer’s works,which are divided into first-level characteristic words,second-level characteristic words,and third-level characteristic words according to their different importance.The 124 characteristic words of dialects are divided into different levels and their meanings are explained,and their specific distribution in the Guanzhong film and surrounding dialects are explained.At the same time,the sentence examples in the novel are listed to facilitate readers’ understanding.The third chapter is a linguistic investigation of the characteristic words of Guanzhong dialect in writer’s works,which mainly includes structure investigation,semantic category investigation and specific part of speech investigation and analysis.The investigation of structure is to analyze and discuss characteristic words from the perspectives of phonetic structure and word formation,at the same time,the feature words in the works are divided into semantic categories.According to different parts of speech,the characteristic words in works can be divided into seven categories,of which nouns and verbs are dominant.The fourth chapter is a diachronic analysis of the characteristic words of dialect in writer’s works,which are mainly divided into three categories:inherited words,variant words and innovative words.Find out the ancient literature use cases of inherited words,analyze the variant words,and discuss the word formation methods of innovative words.The fifth chapter compares the characteristic words of dialect in writer’s works with the surrounding dialects,mainly with the Central Plains Mandarin(Qinlong,Fenhe),Jin dialect,and Southwest Mandarin,and analyzes the difference between the Guanzhong dialect and the surrounding dialects.The number of common feature words determines the relationship between Guanzhong film and surrounding dialects.This article uses Jia Pingwa’s work as the source of corpus,comprehensively investigates the characteristic words from a linguistic plane and ephemeral perspective,and tries to show the true appearance of characteristic words of Guanzhong dialect.At the same time,it compares the Guanzhong dialect with surrounding dialects and examines the Guanzhong dialect and surrounding dialect.The close relationship between Guanzhong dialect and surrounding dialects,from close to sparse,is:Qinlong,Fenhe,Jin dialect,Southwest Mandarin.
