A Study On The Cultural Changes Of The Ancestor Legends Of Zhou Dynasty In Eastern Gansu

Today,in the hinterland of Qingyang Loess Plateau in Eastern Gansu,after thousands of years of historical deduction and traditional superposition,many cultural remains and oral narratives about the ancestors of Zhou,such as Houji,Buzhu,Juyao and Gongliu,have been formed.The legends of Zhou ancestors in Qingyang are mainly reflected in three forms: handed down literature,contemporary oral inheritance and relics.They are the deep accumulation and cultural memory of Zhou People’s cultural history in Qingyang folk society,and also the directional projection of Chinese national spirit in this area.The legends of Zhou’s ancestors in Qingyang combine Qingyang people’s mental process of recognizing Zhou’s achievements with the narrative style of successive,oral and simple.They contain ancient and profound farming life style on the Loess Plateau and simple and sincere feelings of respecting ancestors and respecting morality.They are the true records of Qingyang people’s spiritual history and spiritual history of thousands of years of hard work and entrepreneurship,which is conducive to our profound understanding To understand the ancient and simple humanistic character and traditional historical spirit of Eastern Gansu society and even the whole northwest cultural area.At the same time,the legend of the ancestors of the Zhou Dynasty in Qingyang is also an important branch form of the Northwest Chinese civilization inheritance.Its independent and complete three-dimensional cultural structure constitutes an important cultural and historical resource of the Chinese nation,which is of great significance in tracing the history of the integration of the entire national civilization and deciphering the national classic cultural symbols.Therefore,the deep value of the legends of Zhou ancestors does not lie in the differences between the forms of literature records or oral narration,nor does it lie in whether they have experienced archaeological evidence or remain absurd,but contains unique regional culture,complex social variables and vivid reality in the repeated and uncertain accumulation of times.Based on the regional cultural ecology and historical and cultural context of Eastern Gansu,this paper puts the culture of Zhou ancestors in the interactive relationship of multi line evolution,and systematically analyzes the evolution of Zhou ancestors’ legends from the initial occurrence to the later evolution,and even to the modern living inheritance from the perspective of three-dimensional and multi-dimensional combination of legends,revealing the cultural mechanism,internal psychology and national character contained in them,so as to provide reference for the future development It is expected to provide more reasonable theoretical ideas and research methods for exploring oral history and carrying forward traditional culture.This paper mainly focuses on the first generation of ancestor Qi of the Zhou people,the Zhou leader Buzhu who led the people to Qingyang in the late Xia Dynasty,his descendants Juyao and Gongliu,and the struggle legends of Gugongdanfu who led the people to leave Eastern Gansu.The first chapter analyzes the cultural ecology and context of Zhou ancestors’ legends in Qingyang from the aspects of natural geographical environment and human environment,and considers the realistic basis and objective conditions of Zhou ancestors’ farming culture;In the second chapter,combined with literature reading and field investigation data,the author mainly combs the general process of the changes of the legend of Zhou ancestors from ancient times to the present,focuses on the internal relationship between literature records and living inheritance,and reveals the folk oral narrative law of the story of Zhou ancestors in Eastern Gansu;In the third chapter,the internal cultural mechanism of Zhou’s ancestral legend changes is theoretically considered,and the thinking mode and cultural psychology of folk oral reconstruction of Zhou’s history are analyzed from the aspects of respecting ancestors and advocating morality;The fourth chapter,from the perspective of modern cultural significance,makes a retrospective evaluation and Analysis on the value attributes of the culture of Zhou ancestors,such as the spirit of agricultural civilization,etiquette and morality,and discusses the leading and promoting role of the legend of Zhou ancestors in Qingyang in carrying forward tradition,interpreting history,and developing economy.
