| Objects:Preparing an intervention manual for the Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention therapy combined with Motivational Interviewing, and using randomized controlled clinical trials to explore the intervention effect of the Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention combined with Motivational Interviewing therapy on amphetamine-type substance use disorders.Methods:1.Research design: In the early stage,a manual of mindfulness-based relapse prevention combined with motivational interviewing intervention was prepared.Through randomized controlled clinical trials,41 participants were divided into intervention group and control group according to random number table method, with 21 in the intervention group and 20 in the control group. The intervention group received a total of 16 sessions at the rate of twice a week and each session lasts 90 minutes. The control group participated in routine treatment, including a daily regular half-hour sit-still.2.Assessment tools: questionnaires were collected before, intermediate, and after the intervention including general information,Beck Depression Scale,State-Trait Anxiety Scale,Emotional SelfEfficacy Scale,Perceived Stress Scale,Barrett Impulsiveness Scale,Stages of Change Readiness and Treatment Eagerness Scale,Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale.Besides,VR-induced craving visual analogue scale assessment,Stop Signal Task(SSRT),Balloon Analogue Risk Task(BART)and Cog State cognitive test were conducted.3.Data Analyzing used SPSS 20.0 statistical software.Statistical analysis was performed at a significance level of P< 0.05.Results:1.36 participants completed the intervention and all these assessments. There were no significant differences between the intervention group and the control group in terms of age, years of schooling, marital status, and drug abuse history(P>0.05).2.Before intervention, the depression in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group(p<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups in mindfulness attention awareness, craving level, anxiety, emotional regulation self-efficacy,perceived stress, impulsivity and cognitive function(p>0.05).After intervention, the depression in the intervention group was still significantly higher than that in the control group(p<0.05).There was no significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups in mindfulness attention awareness, craving level, anxiety, emotional regulation self-efficacy,perceived stress, impulsivity and cognitive function.Conclusions:1.Due to some factors such as sample size, the therapy of Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention combined with motivational interviewing in this study may not significantly change relapse-related factors such as craving, depression, anxiety, impulsivity and the motivation to change in the male patients with amphetamine-type substance use disorders in the compulsory drug rehabilitation center. |
