Objectives 1.To compile Perceived Family Support Scale(PFSS)for drug abusers and to test its reliability and validity.2.To explore the interaction on family function, perceived family support,self-esteem and abstinence self-efficacy for methamphetamine abusers. Methods 1.First,this study constructed an item pool and compiled the draft by reading literatures and consulting experts. Then a sample of 314 drug abusers from Wuhan was chosen to screen items and a total of 931 detoxification patients from Wuhan and Zhongshan were recruited to verify reliability and validity of this scale. Two weeks later,146 of 931 detoxification patients were randomly selected for verifying the test-retest reliability of PFSS.2.A total of 479 methamphetamine abusers in Wuhan were selected for a cross-sectional study.Their information including a)demographic and drug use characteristics;b)family function;c)perceived family support;d)self-esteem;e)abstinence self-efficacy and so on was collected in this study. Results 1.a)PFSS had a single dimension, and contained 11 items, with Likert's 7-grade score;b)Exploratory factor analysis showed that only one factor can be extracted from the total of 11 items, characteristic root of this factor was 7.542,variance contribution rate was 68.560%;c)the correlation coefficient between PFSS and family APGAR was 0.523,P<0.001;d)Scores of PFSS were significantly different in most demographic and drug use characteristics level(P<0.05);e)The Cronbach ? coefficient of PFSS was 0.954,test-retest reliability was 0.772.2.a)Methamphetamine abusers' score of drug abstainer's refraining self-confidence scale(DARCS)was 4.14 on average, with the highest score of 5;b)Both of education level and drug use duration were relative factors of DARCS score(P<0.05);c)The chain-mediated effect model of family function, perceived family support,self-esteem and abstinence self-efficacy was tested by some good fit indices, the results were: ?2=22.949,P<0.001;RSMEA=0.076;AGFI=0.945;SRMR=0.025;d)In this model, family function had an total effect of 0.389 on methamphetamine abusers' abstinence self-efficacy.But the direct effect was only 0.039,95%CI was(-0.086,0.156).At the same time, indirect effect was 0.350 and 95%CI of each indirect effect path did not contain 0.Conclusions 1.PFSS has a good reliability and validity, and it is suitable for psychometric requirement. It can be used as an effective tool to measure the level of drug abusers' perceived family support.2.There is a complete chain-mediated effect of perceived social support and self-esteem on the influence of family function on abstinence self-efficacy.
