Relying on Internet technology,flipped classroom is a teaching mode that reverses knowledge transfer and knowledge internalization.After more than 20 years of development,this teaching mode has been widely used in various disciplines,and there are also some active attempts and applications in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.At the beginning of 2020,the COVID-19 pandemic has swept across the world and has a huge impact on teaching activities.Transnational language projects cannot be held as usual.In the context of network informationization and normalization of epidemic prevention and control,the 2020 Dalian Summer Chinese Intensive Program attempts to carry out teaching activities using the online flipped classroom teaching mode.This paper comprehensively analyzes the application of the flipped classroom teaching model in this online Chinese teaching project.Through literature analysis,data analysis,comparative analysis and3 interviews and other research methods to explore the development status of this field,to demonstrate the feasibility of applying flipped classroom teaching mode to online Chinese teaching.On this basis,this paper analyzes the difference in teaching effects between online and offline flipped classroom teaching modes,and tries to demonstrate that online Chinese teaching in flipped classroom can achieve similar teaching results as offline teaching.After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of this mode,this paper attempts to put forward feasible suggestions on the application of the online Chinese teaching mode of flipped classroom in the post-epidemic era,so as to help the development of the online flipped classroom teaching mode and to promote the research in related fields of online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Through research and analysis,this paper believes that online Chinese teaching combined with flipped classrooms has operability and practical significance,and is worthy of promotion.As a kind of beneficial attempt of innovate teaching mode,although it is a helpless move to deal with the extreme emergency of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020,it still has application value in the post-epidemic era due to its good teaching effect and the economy and convenience brought by Internet technology.It is an efficient teaching mode that can play an important role in the international spread of Chinese and even the opening of China’s education in the future.Through the use of elaborate teaching videos,strict preview and inspection methods,coupled with a series of teaching auxiliary methods such as language pledges and cultural activities.It is believed that this mode will play a greater role in the future and truly promote the international spread of Chinese.
