| The traditional Chinese landscape paintings,which possess a great many classics and masterpieces,as well as famous masters in different periods,reflect the spirit of Chinese culture and philosophical speculation.However,with time going by,the idyllic scenery is rare in painting,such as lucid stream under little bridges and green mountains outside the town.The buildings have changed a lot both in function and aesthetic.The changes of the environment where people live will definitely have a great effect on the painters’ visual aesthetic and psychology.The painters will not be indifferent to the environment around,so they will paint the buildings unconsciously.Whether they are poetic or numb and tired,their feelings will appear more or less in their works,conveying both their familiar and strange understanding of the landscapes.Therefore,by analyzing the paintings with the theme of architecture,which range in different periods or regions,the thesis studies the emergence,development and the trend of this phenomenon.It has become a new topic to integrate architecture into Chinese ink painting.The thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the development and the current situation of Chinese paintings with architecture as the theme.The second chapter focuses on the shaping language of architecture paintings.It illustrates how to blend the architecture theme and Chinese traditional ink painting.It also discusses the variation of line,the realistic and imagery characteristics of architecture painting,and the reference of Western painting style.The third chapter talks about the breakthrough and plight of the creation of Chinese painting on the theme of architecture.The integration of architecture and Chinese painting creation is studied based on the current theoretical achievements in the painting of buildings and urban landscape,as well as contemporary representative painters and their works.It is hoped that the research will have an all-round improvement in creation and theory. |
