On The Real Record And Artistic Expression In Martial Arts TV Documentary

Martial arts,as an important part of Chinese traditional culture,has always been a hot topic of all kinds of literature and film and television works,and has also been sought after by many Chinese and foreign fans.As the carrier of inheritance and communication of Chinese traditional martial arts,martial arts TV documentaries not only output image works,but also export our excellent traditional culture to the public at home and abroad.In this paper,the author’s graduation work "Inheritance of the martial arts of the natural gate" as an example,trying to explore the relationship and role between real record and artistic expression in documentary.Most of the TV documentaries on any subject pay attention to the original record.However,it is not advisable to emphasize only the original record and ignore its artistic expression.Documentaries need to integrate reality and art,and try to find a balance between them in the process of creation.Authenticity determines the content of documentary performance,and artistry determines the way of documentary performance.In the shooting of "Inheritance of the martial arts of the natural gate",the author recorded the real scenes of Master Liu Guoli,the inheritor of nature gate,visiting teachers,teaching apprentices,spreading martial arts and so on.It also tries to enhance the artistic expression of the film through the arrangement of the beginning and the end of the film,the processing of the editing,the soundtrack and the explanation.And through the shooting of this film and the analysis of other documentaries,this paper discusses the real record and artistic expression of martial arts TV documentaries and other humanities documentaries.Documentary can not abandon artistic expression because it pays attention to original record,nor ignore its true nature because it pursues artistic expression.To grasp the balance between reality and art is the key to create a good documentary.In the process of documentary development,it is to grasp them reasonably that many excellent documentary works are presented.
