| Kaiyuan temple is located in the West Street of Licheng district,Quanzhou City,Fujian Province.At the end of the Tang Dynasty,It was located in the center of Luocheng Autonomous County.To defend against the enemy,the ruler expand Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County in the late Tang Dynasty.In 1982,Kaiyuan was widely expected to become one of the second group of key cultural relics protection units.First Name Lotus Temple,in 738 AD renamed Dakaiyuan Temple.Song Dynasty,the Temple Incense Heyday,a branch of the 120 district,to the Yuan Dynasty,and renamed the Dakaiyuan Wanshou Zen Temple.There’s been a lot of activity since then.The existing architecture pattern should be formed in Song Dynasty.From south to north,the Representative Temple buildings are: the Hall of golds,Baiting,the Main Hall,the altar,The Sutras Attic,the hall of Merit,and so on.Its architectural decoration is famous for its rich content,rich content,various forms,wide subject matter and high technique,which is a treasure in the history of decorative art.Dragon decorative patterns are the most representative of a variety of decorative themes,from the main building gate,to Main Hall,to the East and west Twin Towers...Dragon decorative patterns are everywhere in different forms.Kaiyuan temple is an indispensable and precious resource for the study of the dragon-pattern decoration art of temples,which is of great cultural,historical and artistic value.Since 2000,there has been a lot of research on the temple.There have been a lot of achievements in the academic field,but mainly focusing on architecture,there are also part of the traditional decorative arts of southern Fujian article.But there has been no comprehensive study of Quanzhou Kaiyuan temple using dragon art as an entry point.In this paper,the temple as the main research object,Kaiyuan Dragon Decoration for a systematic study.The study of this typical decorative theme reveals the cultural identity,historical origin and regional color of the people in Quanzhou.The author first uses the art field survey method and the image analysis method,to collect and investigate the architectural planning and pattern of it,the specific position,the way,the form,the volume,the color and the craft of the dragon decoration art Then,from the artistic and cultural characteristics,the paper analyzes the cultural connotation of the dragon decoration art in Kaiyuan,Quanzhou,and the social and historical background of Quanzhou and the historical and cultural origins of the Quanzhou indigenous peoples,from the perspective of social history and cultural background,this paper analyzes the causes of the formation of the unique culture in Kaiyuan,Quanzhou,and reveals the psychological causes of the legacy of the wizard of the indigenous peoples. |
