A Study On The Promotion Of The May 4th Movement To The Sinicization Of Marxisms

The May 4th movement is the beginning of the Sinicization of Marxism and a great turning point in modern Chinese history.The May 4th Movement made Chinese advanced intellectuals see clearly the current situation of Chinese society and the essence of imperialist joint oppression of the Chinese people,made it clear that there were profound social contradictions in capitalist society,and strengthened their determination to solve China’s practical problems only by taking the socialist road.In the history of the spread and development of Marxism,the inheritance of the May 4th Movement has always been embedded in the road of Sinicization of Marxism,embedded in the practice of Chinese revolution,and inspired the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups to strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Today,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.China is in a critical period of reform and development,a period of vigorous development,and a historical intersection period of realizing the "two centenary" goals.At this special node of the times,it is of great significance to commemorate the May Fourth Movement,to remember the lofty patriotic feelings and revolutionary spirit of the May Fourth Movement,to discuss the time value of the May Fourth Movement,and to grasp the overall value of the May Fourth Movement in promoting the development of Marxism in China in the new era.First of all,based on the analysis of the profound connotation of the May 4th movement,this paper systematically discusses the three dimensions of the great patriotic revolutionary movement,the great social revolutionary movement,the great ideological enlightenment movement and the new cultural movement;secondly,combining with the historical process of the spread and development of Marxism in China,it expounds the basic and promoting role of the May Fourth Movement on the development of the dissemination of Marxism After that,combined with the development of the May 4th movement,this paper scientifically analyzes how the main body of the development of Marxism in China based on its own unique social orientation to promote the development of Marxism in China in the new era,and further studies the inevitable logical connection between the May Fourth Movement and the development of Marxism in China under the new era.
