| The Qishi Sutra was rarely mentioned In academia,but it has been re-translated many times in the history of Buddhist sutra translation.From the perspective of linguistics,history and religion,this paper makes a study of the text and spatial thought of Qishi Sutra.There were four translations of Qishi Sutra in from Western Jin dynasty to Sui dynasty.By comparing the four different translations of the Book,it is found that translators of different eras and countries had their own choices,so that the style of the translation was different,which not only reflects the personal characteristics of the translators,but also reflects the changes of The Times of the translation system of the sutra.This paper also analyzes the spatial structure and layout characteristics of Qishi Sutra,as well as theory of karma behind it.The theory of karma not only provides theoretical support for the spatial design of the sutra,but also provides a reference for specific Buddhist practice.Buddhism shows its religious function of advising good and warning evil with the help of space theory.Qishi Sutra has a far-reaching influence on later generations,and has been quoted and adopted by later Buddhist literature for many times.Taoism was also deeply influenced by its spatial view.In brief,in the history of Buddhism,Qishi Sutra has constructed a huge spatial structure of Buddhism,which has a very important influence on Chinese concept of space in the world. |
