The Research On Shi Tuo’s “Seventeen Years”Historical Drama Creation

Shi Tuo is a writer spanning both modern and contemporary times.He has created and published more than 270 works in his whole life,involving novels,essays,dramas and other fields.Since the 1940 s,the focus of Shi Tuo’s literary creation has shifted from novels and essays to drama,and in the following thirty years,drama creation has become the main content of his late literary practice.During the period of "Seventeen year period",there was a rush of historical drama creation in the literary circle.Shi Tuo followed the trend of literature and art and began to write historical plays.This paper takes the three historical dramas created by Shi Tuo during the period of "Seventeen years",namely,"Ba Zhu Ji","Ximen Bao" and "Lie Yu Kou" as the research objects,and combines the historical background to make objective and rational analysis and thinking on the creation of Shi Tuo’s historical dramas.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into four parts:The first chapter elaborates the historical background of Shi Tuo’s drama creation.This paper analyzes the whole process of Shi Tuo setting his hands on the road of drama creation from the two aspects of "unique life experience and cultural nourishment" and the creation opportunity of Shi Tuo’s "seventeen years" historical drama,and also discusses the creation principle of Shi Tuo in the process of historical drama creation.The second chapter discusses the subject construction of Shi Tuo’s "Seventeen years" historical drama creation.Firstly,combining with the text,the author explores the theme of Shi Tuo’s "Seventeen years" historical drama creation,which is the deep humanistic concern.Secondly,it analyzes the application of "lockclosed" drama structure in Shi Tuo’s historical drama.Then from the "structure" and "form of expression" two angles to analyze the historical drama conflict Settings;Finally,the narrative mode of Shi Tuo’s historical drama is analyzed.The third chapter analyzes the artistic characteristics of Shi Tuo’s "Seventeen years" historical drama creation.Shi Tuo attaches great importance to the creation of drama atmosphere,through the use of stage scenery and "image",to achieve the purpose of rendering the atmosphere of historical drama;In the aspect of character image building,Shi Tuo is good at creating different character images in the opposition of "loyal and traitor contradiction".In terms of language use,Shi Tuo combines the "poetic" language with He Nan dialect,which makes his works show the unique features of Central Plains.The fourth chapter is about the limitation of Shi Tuo’s "Seventeen years" historical drama creation.Put shi tuo’s history in the context of the "seventeen years" politicised,clear his works appear relaxed and humorous narrative style and bitter irony,in marriages "seventeen years" period to "high" as a single dominant creative thinking in literary and artistic creation,added new variation for this period of history.But Shi Tuo’s historical plays also have obvious defects and shortcomings: the obvious tendency of "Schiller" and the strengthening of "people’s power" in his works affect the ideological depth and aesthetic effect of his historical plays to a certain extent.
