Research On The Current Situation Of Congolese Students Using Online Platforms To Learn Chinese

Due to the rapid development of the Internet,online learning has become an important tool for almost every student.Back to few years ago,foreigners have to go to Chinese schools,training institutions or Confucius Institutes to learn Chinese.However,due to the COVID-19 pandemic,schools were unable to conduct classes as usual.In response to this situation,most Chinese schools are now engaging in technology-enhanced face-to-face classroom teaching through self-paced online learning as a way to diversify access to Chinese language learning.At the same time,many online learning platforms for Chinese language have also emerged.Online Chinese learning platform is a new type of Chinese learning method derived from the Internet era.Learners can enjoy Chinese learning services anytime and anywhere through the Internet technology.It has become a new choice that is quite popular among Chinese language learners from all over the world.This article intends to make a research on the situation of Congolese students using online platforms to learn Chinese.And it was done through questionnaire surveys,individual interviews with Chinese learners from Congo Brazzaville,and also by collecting documents for online Chinese learning platforms from CNKI,Google Scholar,Baidu Library,and various online libraries.While understanding the advantages of online Chinese learning platforms,I also discovered many problems in them.I hope that this research can help Congolese students to choose the right online Chinese learning platform for them,improve their enthusiasm and level of learning Chinese,so as to better spread Chinese culture.At the same time,I hope this survey can be helpful to developers and Chinese teachers of online Chinese learning platforms.
