Study On The Criticism Of Li Shangyin’s Poems In Ming Dynasty

Li Shangyin is a famous poet and writer in Tang Dynasty.His poems attract the attention of critics from generation to generation with its profound and gorgeous characteristics.After Tang Dynasty,the criticism of Li Shangyin’s poetry in various periods has its own characteristics of the times.The criticism of Li Shangyin’s poetry in Ming Dynasty has developed and deepened gradually while inheriting the achievements of the previous generation.The Poetic in Ming Dynasty is particularly developed.The number and scale of poetry anthology and poetic commentaries have reached the peak.Meanwhile,the poetics of Ming Dynasty is guided by the Tang Dynasty.Therefore,this paper takes the poetic commentaries and poetry anthology of Ming Dynasty as the main content of the study analyzing the criticism of Li Shangyin’s poetry in Ming Dynasty from the perspective of poetics criticism and anthology,combing the literary thoughts of Ming Dynasty,this paper also reveals the historical and cultural reasons which have an impact on Li Shangyin’s poetry criticism.The main content of this paper is three parts.The introduction part describes the origin and significance of the criticism of Li Shangyin’s poetry in Ming Dynasty,a review of the current situation of the study,and the research ideas and methods of the article.The main body of the thesis is to study the criticism of Li Shangyin’s poetry in Ming Dynasty from four aspects.The first part mainly discusses the criticism of Li Shangyin’s poetry in Ming Dynasty.Though the sorting the poerty anthology and the portic commentaries,it is found that,the Ming people have a developing process of understanding Li Shangyin’s poetry due to the influence of social politics,economy and culture.The attitude of Ming people towards Li Shangyin’s poerty shows a process form leniency to stritness,and then gradually to leniency.The second part focuses on the analysis of the Ming people’s views on the theme and skills of Li Shangyin’s poetry.The concern of Li Shangyin’s "no topic" series poetry and the discussion on the skills of his poems are particularly prominent topics in his poetry criticism.Especially the discussion on the theme of the "no topic" series poetry from Yang Ji,which opens a new direction for future generations;Hu Yinglin summed up the two major characteristics of Li Shangyin’s poems,which are expert and rare.The third part analyzes the Ming people’s evaluation of Li Shangyin’s seven-character-verses,which is based on the selection of the seven-syllable poems and the seven-character quatrains and the discrimination between the two styles.In contrast,Ming people have more selections of the seven-character quatrains,while in the poetry anthology,they have more comprehensive understanding of Li Shangyin’s the seven-syllable poems.The fourth part carring on the elaboration focusing on the understanding of to Li Shangyin’s poetry art style in the Ming Dynasty.The Ming people’s understanding of Li Shangyin’s poetry style can be summarized as "deep" in overall style.On the emotional style,it can be "beautiful and idle".Both of them have developed in the basis of the previous discussion,and basically formed a preliminary grasp of his poetic style.The conclusion part,on the basis of summarizing the criticism of Li Shangyin’s poetry in Ming Dynasty,expounds the significance of the criticism of Li Shangyin’s poetry of the Ming Dynasty in the whole history of his poetry criticism.
