Analysis Of Painting Under The Influence Of Digital Technology

Digital technology has developed for more than 50 years.From its initial application in academic and scientific research to its active application in business,art,education and many other fields,digital technology has penetrated into all aspects of real life,become a common creative medium for artists,and bring new creative ideas,approaches and forms to the field of painting.Paintings under the influence of digital technology can be divided into two categories: digital painting and easel painting.Among them,digital painting is a new art form based on the creation mode of easel painting and generated by computer image processing technology,which is the direct product of digital technology.In 1963,the first real-time human-computer interactive painting system-"Sketchpad" came out,which laid the foundation for the development of computer graphics processing technology.Artists do not need complex pre calculation and programming to generate graphics,they can directly operate the "light pen" to interact with the image on the computer screen.Later,the computer painting program has been constantly improved.Based on the idea of simulating the traditional painting environment for artists,various image processing functions have been gradually added,providing unlimited materials,traces and strokes to try and choose in the limited space.At present,many artists have changed from using traditional painting materials to using computer as a medium to complete their works.These attempts promote digital painting to form a unique visual language,which in turn affects easel painting,resulting in the change of painting style.Artists began to imitate the visual effects of digital media with traditional painting tools,and digital visual language gradually penetrated into the field of easel painting.Combining David Hockney’s i Pad painting and Austin Lee’s easel painting,this paper intends to explore the features of digital painting and easel painting under the influence of digital technology,and put forward assumptions and conjectures for the future development of digital technology and painting.This paper is divided into five parts: the first chapter describes the research background and significance;the second chapter analyzes the historical causes of the influence of digital technology by combing the role transformation process of digital technology in painting;the third chapter discusses the applications of digital painting and easel painting in digital technology from three aspects: the transformation of painting creation mode,the use of image materials and the integration of painting language;the fourth chapter discusses the simulation of digital painting to traditional painting and the imitation of traditional painting to digital painting with David Hockney’s and Austin Lee’s and artistic creation,further reveals the symbiotic state of digital technology and painting;the fifth chapter expounds the influence of the above theory on the author’s personal artistic creation,as well as the application of digital language The use of human resources in literary works.Today,with the rapid development of digital technology and Internet art,easel painting in the real world has a sense of separation from the times and science and technology no matter from the theme or creation method.This paper aims to analyze the main characteristics of painting under the influence of digital technology,explore the development trend and aesthetic trend of painting under the penetration of science and technology,and find new possibilities for easel paintings.
