| The advancement of digital technology,a great event of information age,has provided designers with numerous resources.Various design elements and templates can be found in database.And increasingly,as designs become more democratized,even those without expertise could also design posters.The visual effects shown by those designs only care about the facade of "intention".The pressure of high efficiency and fast pace has produced an increasing number of homogeneous and utilitarian works,which will eventually turn out to be useless visual garbage.Poster design is the embodiment of artistic temperament;it intends to covey both thoughts and feelings and to have the audience experience aesthetic feelings in their state of mind.Regarding the experience of artistic transcendence of poster design,it aims to convey emotions injected by designer to the visual audience then the visual audience could receive the spiritual and emotional support brought by visual information.Thousands of years of Chinese traditional culture and the influx of diversified cultures have provided inspiration for Chinese contemporary poster design.As a designer,one should have excellent artistic and cultural literacy and expertise so as to spark inspiration,to transcend reality and oneself during creation,to flexibly apply various techniques in terms of the theme,and to liberate the mind in the most expressive form.This thesis composed of four sections has studied Chinese contemporary poster design under the dimension of artistic transcendence.The first section elaborates the concept of artistic transcendence and put forward problems that Chinese contemporary visual communication design encounters via analyzing the influence of digital technology on Chinese contemporary visual communication design.The second section,by analyzing visual psychology,form and performance,explains how the transcendence of art can be regained in Chinese contemporary poster design.The third section,as the core part of the thesis,has combined classic poster designs home and abroad and analyzed the design thought in poster design and the main picture with visual impact and the poetic image experience derived from aesthetic emotions to address problems confronted by contemporary poster design.The last chapter summarizes the first three chapters and points out new directions for Chinese contemporary poster design and provides theoretical perspectives for the artistic transcendence of poster design. |
