| The Nobel Prize for Literature in 2018 was won by Polish woman writer Olga Tokarcuk.Her works are rooted in the history and reality of Poland,and are veiled with magic colors.Time is the most active element in her novels,which is not only the scale of plot unfolding,but also the content of narration and the object of observation.Time is not only the background of the story,but also the main participant.This thesis focuses on the time poetics of Olga Tokarcuk’s novels.It is mainly analyzed from three aspects: time dimension,time structure and life connotation,aiming at exploring the content,characteristics and life connotation of time in Olga Tokarcuk’s novels,so as to walk into the time garden of Olga Tokarcuk’s novels.Although the content,characteristics and life connotation of time are three different emphases related to time,different aspects penetrate each other and progress in juxtaposition,which together build the building of time poetics in Olga Tokarcuk’s novels.The poetics of time in Olga’s novels not only has the commonness of time writing in modern novels,but also bears the brand of Polish nation and engraves its own unique color. |
