| With the development of economic globalization,the economic exchanges between China and other countries are getting closer and closer.The translation of economic texts is an important part of modern social communication and a basic part of economic communication activities.Under the guidance of the Functional Equivalence Theory,the book Breaking the Time Barrier is selected to analyze by combining with translation examples and translation skills,which expounds the specific application methods from three aspects of lexical level,syntactic level and textual level,combining various problems encountered in the process of translation with theory,deepening the understanding of theory and improving the level of translation.Some typical cases are extracted from the translation materials to explore how to flexibly apply functional equivalence to the translation of economic texts from the perspectives of lexical equivalence,syntactic equivalence and textual equivalence.In the process of analysis,in order to clearly and accurately express the content and essence of the original text,and understand the translation theory deeply,the translation methods of conversion,amplification,omission are adopted at lexical level to express the information of the source text and achieve the functional equivalence accurately.At the syntactic level,inversion and reversion are used to achieve functional equivalence by adjusting the order of sentences and changing the expression of sentences.At textual level,the text is analyzed in two aspects of cohesion and coherence.At the same time,the summarized translation skills can be applied to the translation of similar texts,such as medical and scientific texts.It is proved that the Functional Equivalence Theory is of great guiding significance to master the translation of economic texts,accurately reproduce the original information,and improve the quality of translation.At the same time,it’s significant to offer a good reference for other types of text translation.Figure 0;Table 0;Reference 29... |
