Inspired by the era of "strengthening cultural heritage and protecting intangible heritage traditions","Puppet Lovers" is an "intangible cultural heritage" documentary about the inheritance and development of Yangzhou’s stick-toed puppets.The Yangzhou Puppet Troupe and Yangzhou Art School are selected as the main subjects,and the historical background,production skills,development status,performance forms of the puppets,as well as the changes of the Yangzhou Puppet Troupe,are objectively and comprehensively displayed in the documentary’s plain and sincere video style.In the process of social transformation,it will make useful explorations for the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage,boosting the transformation of folk crafts,and disseminating urban cultural values.The intention is to bring the audience an intuitive audio-visual experience,and at the same time,it will arouse more people’s thinking about the content of the film,and it is also hoped that this will arouse the attention of the society and the academic circles.It aims to become an effective way to protect intangible cultural heritage and spread cultural beliefs.From the perspective of creators,this research focuses on the narrative research of the"Intangible Cultural Heritage" documentary "Puppet Lovers".The first is the introduction,which focuses on the origin and significance of creation,research status,research objectives,and research methods.For the conception part of the work,it is divided into the outline of the work,the conception and shooting plan,etc.The third chapter starts from the narrative method of the work,and analyzes the hierarchy of the narrative structure,the flexibility of the narrative perspective,and the atmosphere of the narrative space.Focus and internal focus are completely different narrative perspectives;explore the relationship between narrative space and extended screen content,and propose a variety of narrative methods to improve the expression of documentary content from small to big.As for the narrative video in Chapter 4,the author believes that it is necessary to flexibly use the multi-scenario shooting technique,and add simultaneous sound,commentary and music according to the style of the film,so as to enhance the expressiveness and attractiveness of the documentary.The last part is about the creation experience of the work.By doing a retrospective study on the problems in the creation process,I intend to use the intangible cultural heritage documentary "Puppet Lover" to help the creation practice and content arrangement of "intangible cultural heritage"documentaries in the future.walk more smoothly.
