Study On Nie Bao’s Congou Theory

Nie Bao’s theory of "Gui Ji" and the theory of "No Gou Fu" developed a school of its own in the theory of "Wang’s school" and "Wang’s school",which caused many controversies.But its thought has its own system,occupies an important position in the wang gate after learning.The formation of Nie Bao’s thought experienced a tortuous process.Under the influence of Chen Xianzhang’s study of mind,Nie Bao had a first glimpse of the path of mind study.However,the cultivation of "seeking all minds instead" was elusive and easy to get caught in it without realizing it.It is not as practical as the practice of doing things from a long perspective.Later,after studying and understanding Wang Yangming’s study of mind astirously,Nie Bao finally got the purpose of Yangming’s study of mind,and put forward his own explanation of Ge Wu Zhi Zhi.He understood the knowledge as "the amount that fills the noumenon of my conscience",and so that knowledge governs the matter,putting the emphasis on the kung fu theory of the heart of the knowledge.This means that Nie Bao has completely stepped out from the road of Cheng Zhu’s Neo-Confucianism,namely,Gongfu.Finally,Nie Bao summed up the mental effort "full of the essence of my conscience" as "returning to silence",and expressed the mental effort to recover the mind from its dizziness in a more straightforward way.His theory of Gongfu finally came to a great achievement.In the view of scholars at that time,his thought of returning to solitude was contrary to Wang Yangming’s philosophical thought that the sense of solitude in mind learning is the same,which caused the separation between the body of solitude and the feeling of loneliness.However,the reason why Nie Bao put forward the theory of "returning to peace and tranquility" was that he did not try to define the essence of conscience,but merely emphasized the efforts to preserve and maintain the essence of conscience.The essence of conscience is innate and sufficient.It does not seek for anything outside,nor is it increased or decreased due to manpower,but it is also easily covered by the private nature of the human mind.It must be restored through the effort of returning to silence.Nie Bao made a distinction at different levels between the mind work and the nature of conscience,and between the mind work and the matter work,so as to ensure that the mind work hard on the only and inseparable whole of conscience,instead of taking the cognitive view as the conscience.If we understand the theory of Gui Ji,we can see that it can only be understood from the perspective of mind effort,and we can also see that the philosophical thought conveyed by Nie Bao is not the same as that of Buddha,nor is it to return to Neo-Confucianism.In addition,Nie Bao’s theory of gou wu fu has also been criticized because of its negation of gou wu fu.However,what Nie Bao objected to was the disintegration of the principle of the matter and the principle of the matter,and he conveyed to people the true effort of moral practice of letting conscience be popular and not adding human beings because of things.Nie Bao’s theory of returning to peace and his theory of "no matter without time" are closely related to Wang Yangming’s thought.Although the expression is different,the theory of Gui Ji is similar to Wang Yangming’s original study and the study of conscience in the core of thought.The thought of "no time for matter" and Wang Yangming’s theory of the unity of knowledge and action are also interlinked in the core of thought.The theory of Gui Ji and the theory of no kung fu form a complete system of the theory of kung fu.The focus of the theory of kung fu is on the mind kung fu,but the purpose of the theory of kung fu is to realize the popularity of conscience,so that the action of thoughts is in accordance with the "principle of heaven".The conscience of knowing good and knowing evil is the practice of doing evil for good.This is also the inheritance and development of Wang Yangming’s thought system of mind learning,which integrates body use and knowledge and action.
