Research On Huang Zongxi’s View Of The "Tianxia"

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,violent political or social upheavals and the great changes of the times forced the traditional Chinese scholar bureaucrats to reflect on the construction of traditional Chinese political system;meanwhile,the rebellion of the current political model was brewing in Confucianism.The convergence of the two forces has set off a raging wave in the field of Confucianism.The thinking of scholars has achieved the highest peak of political criticism and reconstruction in the traditional perspective of China.From the perspective of the concept of "Tianxia",this paper focuses on how to reshape the political structure of "Tianxia" and how to define the relationship between "China" and "barbarians".From clearing up Huang Zongxi’s political philosophy,reveals Huang Zongxi’s breakthrough in the traditional Confucian political governance mode under the special background of Ming and Qing Dynasties.The paper consists of introduction,chapters 2-6,conclusion,appendix and so on.The foreword mainly involves the composition of Huang Zongxi’s academic thought,the context review of the current academic research on Huang’s political thought,the significance and value of the topic selection,and the research ideas and methods of the article.The main body of the paper can be divided into five chapters,which can be divided into three parts.The first part(Chapter 2)teases out the main meaning of Chinese traditional "Tianxia" concept,which provides background support for the subsequent chapters to explore the development and change of "Tianxia" concept.The second part(Chapter 3-5)analyzes the concept of "Tianxia" in Huang Zongxi’s representative work Waiting for the Dawn,aiming to emphasize his inheritance and breakthrough of the traditional concept of "Tianxia",and from this concept,re-examine,combine and explain Huang Zongxi’s political philosophy.The third part(Chapter 6)summarizes the concept of "Tianxia" after the Ming and Qing Dynasties,in order to point out the scholars’ Inheritance and breakthrough to the traditional and Huang Zongxi’s "Tianxia".The conclusion part mainly summarizes the main content of the article,and points out the shortcomings of Huang Zongxi’s "Tianxia" concept and its reference significance to the current national political construction.The appendix lists sources of the "Tianxia" by the table in order to make the content of the article more rigorous and sufficient.
