Musical drama is an art form of stage performance.It combines the expression of songs,the series of lines,the promotion of music,and the close integration of action performances.Cultural outlook is presented.Audiences can enjoy a variety of arts such as singing,performance and dancing at the same time,so the popularity of musicals in the world is very high.No less than an opera.And "Les Miserables",known as one of the four major musicals,is a leader in musicals.It is staged in theaters all over the world every year,which shows the audience’s love for it.The success of the musical "Les Miserables" is not only because of Hugo’s expressiveness in the presentation of the story and the characterization of the characters in the original work,but more importantly,it fits the characterizations in the aspect of music creation,and the atmosphere is just right.The purpose of this paper is to study the musical ontology,lyrics and singing of several popular arias in this musical.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the review of the research as well as the research ideas and methods.The research situation of the drama "Les Miserables" is sorted out,so as to assist the content and direction to be discussed in this article;the second chapter is based on the original work of "Les Miserables" and the basic art forms of the film version,the musical version,and the musical version of the film version.Summarize,sort out the display of different art forms of the same work,so as to better understand the literary and musical nature of "Les Miserables";the third chapter describes the concept of musical theatre and the creative background of "Les Miserables" And the introduction of the songwriter and the theme of the play,so as to better interpret the connotation of the play and the idea of music creation;the fourth chapter respectively discusses the musical "Les Miserables" from the perspectives of musical form,lyrics and singing.The three classic arias "I Dreamd a Dream","On my own" and "Stars" will explore the characteristics and connotations of the music and lyrics,as well as the techniques and styles of singing,so as to help us how to make better use of the specific adjustments to vocal techniques.To achieve the change of singing style;the fifth chapter expounds the relative relationship between vocal singing and musical,and the influence on each other,including the inheritance significance of musical as an artistic carrier.
