| The Shuangdun Culture is an archaeological culture with the most regional characteristics and rich sites in the middle reaches of the Huai River.Its discovery and research not only improve the sequence of archaeological cultures in the middle reaches of the Huai River,but also provide valuable materials for exploring the characteristics of "Huai River Culture".In order to reveal the significance of the Shuangdun culture,this paper discusses the stages and ages,types and source stream of the Shuangdun culture,the origin and spread of pottery tripod,and the change in the combination of cooking utensils.The first part is the research on the staging and chronology of the Shuangdun culture.Through the typological analysis of the pottery of typical sites of the Shuangdun culture,the Shuangdun culture is divided into three phases and five sections.According to the cultural characteristics and the latest corrected carbon 14 dating data,it is speculated that the early period is about 7300-7000 years ago,the middle period is divided into two sections,about7000-6700 years ago,and the late period is divided into two sections,about 6700-6300 years ago.The second part reconfirms the regional types and cultural origins of Shuangdun culture.And agrees that shuangdun culture can be divided into “Shishanzi type” in the north of the Huai River and “Shuangdun type” along the Huai River region.“Shishanzi type” is mainly inherited from “xiaoshankou Phase I culture”,The “Shuangdun type” is partly inherited from the culture of the “xiaoshankou Phase I culture” and at the same time,it is deeply influenced by the “Peiligang Culture”.Shuangdun culture was integrated and formed under the condition of rapid integration of two local types.Shuangdun culture experienced a relatively weak transitional period in the late period and finally developed into “Houjiazhai culture”.Six thousand years ago,the cultural center of the middle reaches of the Huai River shifted from north to south.With the demise of The “Houjiazhai culture”,the cultural independence of the middle reaches of the Huai River ceased to exist.The third part,with the pottery tripod as the clue,focuses on the horizontal cultural exchange of space category and discusses the origin and propagation process of shuangdun pottery tripod.It is proved that shuangdun culture’ pottery tripod originated from Peiligang culture in the west,developed rapidly after combining with its own cultural characteristics,and spread to different cultures in the eastern coastal areas at different stages,and played the role of the transmission station of pottery tripod from early to late.The fourth part focuses on the progress of Shuangdun culture from the “pottery-Fu Age”to the“pottery tripod age” under the time category by taking the combination of cooking utensils as a clue.This paper tries to discuss the background of shuangdun culture’s pottery tripod coming from behind to become the main cooking utensils.The combination change of cooking utensils is the direct manifestation of the change of food culture.The development and expansion of pottery tripod is inseparable from the profound influence of cultural tradition and the progress of pottery making technology.It is closely related to the strengthening of settlement of life and the change of food scale. |
