| In various dynasties in Chinese history,a cauldron must be cast to pray for protection at every major event.As 2021 coincides with the centennial anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China,the author will present the cauldron with a firm soul to this event.As for the shape of the soul-casting pottery ding,it needs to be conceived and designed in combination with the ding culture from the perspective of Heli culture.Therefore,this paper firstly explains the similarities and differences of its content in the context of different values in traditional and contemporary society by analyzing the origin and connotation of Heli culture.And then combined with many factors in the modeling and ritual system in the Ding culture to discuss the feasibility of the overall design concept and the necessity of offering gifts with Ding.Finally,from the perspective of the dual connotation of Heli culture and Ding culture,the design selects the appropriate Ding-shaped as the carrier,draws decorative inspiration from the century-old history of the founding of the party,and uses the nearly lost Hubei Makou kiln pottery-making skills to create and practice---In the name of casting the soul with firmness and building a tripod with "red culture",it responds to the country’s call to "take history as a mirror,relive the magnificent epic of a century,never forget the original intention,and keep in mind the mission".With the thought of the ancients and the wisdom of today’s people,it organically combines China’s time-honored and ceremonial culture with the red culture that has experienced ups and downs. |
