Design Innovation Of Hewugalaji Based On Shape Grammar

"He·Ugalagi" is a general name for the decorative patterns in Inner Mongolia in Mongolian language."He" has the meaning of decoration and beautification.In the overall concept of patterns,it focuses on the "grain" or "decoration" side."Ugaraji" refers to the pattern of circular rotation like the big horn of the male wild argali;The people of Inner Mongolia often call this kind of curved and coiled pattern "He·Ugalagi".In recent years,academic experts and scholars have carried out research on the historical origin,connotation and meaning,classification and sorting of "He·Ugalagi",but there are relatively few related research results on design innovation from the aspect of its rhyme.In this paper,the traditional "He·Ugalagi" as the research object,using the case analysis method to summarize the traditional pattern form,classification and sorting,on the basis of "He·Ugalagi" the artistic characteristics and rhyme;At the same time,combining the comparative research method,the relevant rules of shape grammar and the artistic characteristics of "He·Ugalagii" are compared and analyzed,and the application of this design method in traditional patterns is discussed,and the relevant rules of shape grammar applied in pattern design innovation are summarized.Finally,through the design practice method,the shape grammar method is applied to the design innovation practice of "He·Ugalagi",in order to explore the possibility of its design innovation,and verify its feasibility.This study combining theory with practice,through the practice of new pattern,maintain the basic connotation of pattern to carry on the design innovation,preliminary verified the shape grammar for "He·Ugalagi " the feasibility of the design innovation,and then to ",He·Ugalagi " design innovation provides a new design method,enrich the existing "He·Ugalagi" design creation,Open up new design ideas.
