Using ancient Chinese crane pattern as a starting point and relying on the profound Chinese culture connotation, this design combines Chinese contemporary lifestyle with modern clothing fashion and tries to achieve the collision and mingling of the traditional elements and modern fashion.Basing on the intrinsic characteristics of crane in Chinese traditional culture—nobleness, uprightness and elegance, reserving part form of the ancient Chinese crane pattern, using simple cut and silhouette to highlight the design, I deconstruct and reconstruct the ancient Chinese crane pattern with the modern art approach, in order to express the design concept and transfer the Chinese profound cultural background.Clothing design uses high-precision digital printing technology, due to the need to maintain the integrity of each part of the pattern, and the digital printing process can only be printed on a full cloth. Therefore, this series of clothing are the first plate, after the calculation of specific pieces of data, then the data will be based on pieces designed pattern on the computer after precise digital printing layout, the final completion of the production. Modern technology with traditional patterns combined, not only classic and fashion collide, but also to explore the culture and form between. Also make clothing full of Chinese classical sensibility, while urban women more in line with the style of clothing.
