| Teaching efficiency plays a very important role in teachers’ own development and the improvement of teaching quality.Due to COVID-19,international Chinese teaching has generally shifted from offline to online.The investigation of the online teaching efficiency of international Chinese teachers is conducive to the better online teaching work of international Chinese education.After sorting out the relevant literature of teaching effectiveness,this paper designs a questionnaire suitable for online teaching effectiveness according to Xu Caihua’s teaching effectiveness scale.International Chinese teachers with online teaching experience from Inner Mongolia Normal University were selected as the survey object to investigate the online teaching efficacy.We understand the online teaching efficiency of international Chinese teachers in Inner Mongolia Normal University,further explore the factors affecting the online teaching efficiency,analyze the data with SPSS software,and draw the following conclusions:The overall level of online teaching efficiency of international Chinese teachers in Inner Mongolia Normal University is relatively high.Gender,age,education background and online teaching duration have no significant influence on online teaching efficiency;overseas teaching experience has significant differences in the detection of "teaching process control" in online teaching efficiency.There are significant differences in the detection of "foreign language ability and loyalty" in online teaching efficiency.Teaching age has a significant impact on the sense of identity of their own ability and teaching style,and has a significant difference in the detection of "foreign language ability".Teacher categories showed significant differences in the detection of "foreign language ability,humor,burden and anxiety" in online teaching efficiency.The teaching object has a significant influence on the sense of control of the teaching process,and also reflects the significant differences in the detection of "classroom order control and anxiety sense".Students’ Chinese level has a significant impact on their sense of identity in their own ability and teaching style,and also reflects significant differences in "classroom time control,foreign language ability and sense of humor".On the basis of the questionnaire survey,the six international Chinese teachers were interviewed to deeply understand the online teaching efficiency of the international Chinese teachers.Finally,based on the questionnaire survey results and interview content,some suggestions can improve teachers’ online teaching efficiency and improve the online teaching quality of international Chinese education. |
