This paper explores the use of language and non-language in teacher-student interaction by observing the teaching video of one-on-one online lessons in Teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The language part is based on the structure of teacher-student discourse.Includes Teacher-induced dialogue and student-induced dialogue,the non-verbal part mainly studies the facial expressions and physical movements of teachers and students.The article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.It mainly introduces the reasons for choosing the topic,the research purpose,and the research methods.At the same time,it summarizes the research results of one-on-one teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,online teaching,and classroom interaction;Chapter II studies the characteristics of one-to-one online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and explores the impact of these characteristics on teacher-student interaction;Chapter III examines the interaction between teachers and students in the unit of teacher-student dialogue,of which The dialogues elicited by the teacher include the number and type of questions asked by the teacher,the classification of the specific content of the students 'responses,the teachers' commonly used feedback,the dialogue elicited by the students mainly explored the situations in which the students asked questions,the teacher's answers and the students 'responses to the teachers' answers;Chapter 4 mainly examines the use of non-verbal language by teachers and students,including facial expressions and body movements of teachers and students.The facial expressions of teachers and students are mainly smiles and frowns.Teachers' body language differs depending on the teaching content.Larger,students' body language is mainly nodding and shaking their heads.This chapter counts the number of teacher-student body language and finds out the impact of body language as a language aid on teacher-student interaction.Chapter 5 sumarizes the research and summarizes the use and existing deficiencies of language and non-language in teacher-student interaction.The conclusions are summarized in the conclusion and the deficiencies in the research are pointed out.
