Exploration Of Crane Painting Subjects In The Tang And Song Dynasties

The crane culture has been developed in our country for a long time,and is an animal that has a spiritual and cultural symbol of our country,and is frequently used as a material for creative works,such as poems and sculptures.Compared to other works,painting is the most intuitive object to study.The paintings of cranes have developed a variety of functional and aesthetic qualities in the history of Chinese painting,and have been able to meet the different needs of people at different times,which can be said to have endured.The Tang and Song dynasties were an important development and prosperous stage in the history of birds and flowers,so this paper takes the crane paintings of this period as the object of study,collects their images or written records,compares and analyzes the use of crane images and the reasons for changes,and then discusses the aesthetic value of cranes by combining the author’s aesthetic use of cranes in art practice.
