| The history of Western art was a vigorous period in the 20th century.Among them,Avigdor Arikha is an Israeli painter known for his figurative expressionism.Arikha’s unique artistic perspective and painting language have brought a lot of inspiration to the author’s creation.The graduation creation takes people and things in life as the theme.Through the analysis and learning of Arikha’s expression techniques,to learn how he looks at the objects from the subjective perspective and layouts the picture.The creation tries to show the real beauty of the characters and the still life and aims to improve the painting level.The paper mainly spreads out around Arikha’s figurative paintings,explores the change from abstract style to representational style from his life experience by collecting relevant information.At the same time,it analyzes the subjectivity of Arikha’s paintings from the unique composition,expression and color use.The author completes this graduation creation combined with the author’s daily creation practice,at the same time,thinks and summarizes the creation.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part introduces the life of Arikha and the reasons for the change of painting style.The second part analyzes the works of Arikha’s figurative expression period,explores the two aspects of composition and color,emphasizes the "subjectivity" of Arikha’s works.First,it analyzes how Arikha uses straight lines and rectangles to show the unique artistic effect,and how he creates the visual focus with unbalanced composition;then it explores the use of simple color for the picture composition method and analyzes the contrast of black and white in the picture,researches how he uses solid colors to express the emotion in the picture.The third part talks about the inspiration of Arikha’s view of sketching on the author’s creation,and uses the people and objects around me as the theme for the graduation creation,and expounds the creation process and perception. |
