The Study On The Narratology Of Ballet "Swan Lake"

It has been more than 145 years since the birth of the ballet “Swan Lake”.The time goes back to 1877,at the beginning of Tchaikovsky’s creation of “Swan Lake”,it is only a four act dance adapted from folk fairy tales.In the more than 100 years since its birth,it has traveled all over the world,so that it has become a classic of ballet art.The success of the ballet is really amazing.Therefore,this paper takes the Ballet “Swan Lake” as the research object,focuses on the success of the ballet in narration,makes a narrative analysis of the ballet with the method of text analysis,and tries to summarize the narrative excellence of the Ballet “Swan Lake” as an international communication carrier,so as to provide a useful reference for telling Chinese stories.The full text starts from tracing the history of the birth of the Ballet “Swan Lake”,and introduces the plot of the Ballet “Swan Lake” and the differences between the versions of different editors and directors.Then it discusses the causes of the Ballet“Swan Lake” from the narrative context,introduces the narrative subject and character image of the Ballet “Swan Lake”,expounds the basic situation of the creators of the Ballet “Swan Lake” and then analyzes the main characters in the dance drama and their character image characteristics.On this basis,it summarizes the four narrative themes of the Ballet “Swan Lake”,namely "love","freedom","deception" and "ideal",Then return to the story itself of the Ballet the Ballet “Swan Lake”,through the analysis of the specific plot of the ballet,clarify the linear narrative structure of the ballet,and explain in detail the story content of the ballet and the tragic color of the version staged in 2006.Then it carefully analyzes the narrative language used by the dance drama,including dance,music and dance beauty.In the part of dance beauty narrative language,it analyzes the three factors of light,clothing and props,and points out their contribution to the overall narrative of the dance drama.Finally,it summarizes the enlightenment gained in the research of the Ballet “Swan Lake”,and puts forward some suggestions on the basis of reflecting on the development process of China’s original ballet,in order to provide some reference for China’s international communication.
