User Profiles Construction And Role Evaluation Of Government Micro-bloggers In Emergency

Emergencies are easy to form hotspots of public opinion and even go out of control because of the serious prejudice they may cause and the nature of gathering attention instantly.If we can not guide its direction of development properly and allow it to develop at will,it is likely to cause panic and public opinion d to be out of control,which will cause a serious negative impact on the harmony and stability of society.As the most popular and mainstream new media platform for government affairs,the Weibo of government department is responsible for the guidance of opinion about emergencies.It is of great significance to evaluate the performance of government micro-bloggers in public opinion guidance for emergencies,study their ability to respond to emergencies properly,and evaluate their role in the event,so as to continuously improve the ability of public opinion response and guidance for emergencies of the corresponding government departments.Following the modeling idea of dimension selection-index design-label construction-user profiles construction and role evaluation,this paper proposes the user profiles construction and role evaluation model of government micro-bloggers in the context of emergencies.This paper designs several indices including time of the first microblog,time span,originality,prominence of subject,subject category,number of microblogs,total influence from the four dimensions of time,content,scale and impact.The lifecycle theory of emergencies and topic analysis based on the LDA model were incorporated in the definition and computation of these indices.By setting threshold values,feature labels corresponding to indices were constructed,and the persona of a government micro-blogger was given by all the labels acquired.At the same time,a method based on the combination of partial feature labels was proposed to evaluate the role of a government micro-blogger in emergencies.In case study,the user profiles construction and role evaluation research were carried out in three different emergency events and the experiment results were analyzed and compared.This research provides a reference method for the assessment of the performance of government micro-bloggers in emergency.
