As a government spokesperson,the image of the Foreign ministry spokesperson of China is not only related to personal image,but also closely related to national image and diplomatic work.In recent years,various communication subjects have widely participated in social communication through the We Chat public platform,making it one of the most influential,disseminating and guiding media platforms in the mobile Internet era.The image of the Foreign ministry spokesperson of China also used this platform to become more familiar to the public The thesis selects 278 articles about the Foreign ministry spokesperson of China on the We Chat public platform from 2014 to 2019 as a research sample,and analyzes its content and words to reveal the media image of the spokesperson of Foreign ministry spokesperson of China on the We Chat public platform,the characteristics of Foreign ministry spokesperson building and dissemination,explore how to use the We Chat public platform to strengthen and improve the dissemination of government figures.The research found that,unlike the government reports in the era of traditional media,the articles about Chinese foreign ministry spokesmen on the We Chat platform have a more realistic,three-dimensional and distinctive image due to the diversified subjects of communication,diversified forms of expression,convenient ways of interaction and vivid voice of communication.The image of the Foreign ministry spokesperson of China is three-dimensional and distinct,mainly presenting three images: the image of a national spokesperson with a firm and stable position,the image of a warm and harmonious friend who is approachable,and the image of an ordinary person with outstanding ability and charm.By analyzing its image construction,it is found that the We Chat public platform has obvious characteristics from content presentation,article form to communication mode,and has certain advantages in image construction.First,the integration of hypertext and multimedia forms expands the communication content of the media image.Second,text presentation conforms to mobile Internet reading habits and reduces the cost of audience information acquisition.Finally,the enhanced communication of new media is also conducive to timely control of image communication strategies.At the same time,because the media on the We Chat platform is still in the exploration stage for the image building of such government figures as the Foreign ministry spokesperson of China,there are still some deficiencies in the reports.These include: uneven coverage of topics,pan-entertainment of serious news,pan-idolization of political figures,and reports are biased.To address these issues,it is recommended to broaden the sources of information,focus on the creation of personalized images when constructing and disseminating the image of government figures;balance the reporting issues,enrich the content of the report,and avoid homogenous reporting,grasp the reporting yardstick,and avoid undesirable trends such as pan-entertainment.
