Research On The Challenges And Countermeasures Of China’s Social Security Under A Holistic View Of National Security

General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward A Holistic View of National Security in2014,emphasizing that we need to acquire an accurate understanding of new developments and trends of the situation of national security,adhering to a holistic view and develop national security with Chinese characteristics,which integrates eleven kinds of security such elements as political,economic,culture and so on.And social security is one of many fields involved in a holistic view of national security.Practicing a holistic view of national security and realizing China’s holistic security are inseparable from social harmony,stability and long-term stability.Therefore,social security work is one of the important contents of the current security work in our country.Social security mainly involves the maintenance of public security,the fight against terrorism,the prevention of mass group incidents,and the maintenance of network social security.At present,China is still facing various risks in the above security fields.Based on the analysis of related risks and their causes in China’s social security,this paper discusses the corresponding countermeasures.The security situation between countries has gradually tended to be smooth.The relatively active non-traditional security factors such as terrorist activities,group confrontation,and criminal crimes have made social security more and more valued in various countries.The research on social security has also gradually developed in China and has generated connotation and extension corresponding to our society.Currently,the social security work in China involves fighting crime,maintaining stability,social governance,and public services,etc..The current social security threats facing our country mainly include terrorist activities,mass group incidents,criminal offenses,cyber crimes and other aspects.The emergence of these risks is not only related to China’s long-term transitional period,but also closely due to China’s economic level,the degree of legislative perfection,and various factors at the cultural and even the psychological level of the people.Only by analyzing the causes of social security problems can we further explore China’s countermeasures to such risks and make them more targeted.To cope with various risks in the field of social security,first,we must adhere to the guidance of the overall national security concept.Attach importance to the interconnections between various security elements and security areas.Under the policy of systematic management,comprehensive management,law-based management and source management,special analysis is made on various sub-areas of social security.According to the principle of specific analysis of specific problems,the corresponding countermeasures are formulated according to their characteristics.Second,under the general trend of modernization of China’s national governance system and governance capacity,actively innovate the social security governance model,attach importance to the important role of non-governmental organizations and the participation of the people in social security work,and promote multi-subject participation in social security.To be good at from the previous social security work to summarize,and according to the characteristics of the current social development of the relevant measures for timely adjustment.At the same time,we should emphasize the public participation in social security work,perfect the legislation,and establish the long-term working mechanism of social security work.In addition,strengthening international cooperation in various security affairs is also one of the requirements for the improvement of China’s social security work.Only by constantly improving China’s social security work and taking more comprehensive and effective measures can we maintain China’s social order and ensure the smooth operation of society.
