Elderly Volunteers Participate In Rural Research

The main contradiction in our society has been transformed into a contradiction between the people’s growing need for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.In terms of social governance,at this stage,our country is facing the real problem of increasing population aging.At the same time,there is also a phenomenon of declining birthrates.The contradiction between the two is increasing.The social problem of aging has become prominent,and people need to look at the prolonged life span of the population with a positive perspective.The traditional atmosphere of learning from Lei Feng has long been in China,which objectively provides the soil for the development of voluntary service.Volunteer service has broad prospects in both urban and rural areas.How to combine the development of voluntary service with the reality of aging,take old service as the starting point,let the rural elderly break through the shackles of traditional concepts in the process of providing for the elderly,and then easily intervene in social service and community governance by means of voluntary service.At the same time,face up to the current situation of dualization of the development of urban community and rural village volunteer service,and further find ways to shorten the gap,and contribute innovative wisdom to the construction of the rural elderly care system and the new model of rural governance.Through field visits and theoretical research,this article has an in-depth understanding of the actual situation in Village F.Classify and sort out all aspects of the situation and needs of the elderly in the village,and investigate the specific situation of the elderly in the village participating in volunteer services,as well as the psychological changes and behaviors before and after the participation.Through field investigations,we can understand the restrictive factors of rural elderly participating in voluntary activities,propose feasible countermeasures and plans,establish a collaborative mechanism for voluntary service to promote the construction of rural governance system,and provide a new research path for rural elderly to participate in voluntary services to improve community governance and development.
