Young people are the most dynamic,active and creative social group in society.A country prospers when its youth thrive,and a country prospers when its youth thrive.Young people have always been linked with the destiny of a country and a nation,and they are the main undertakers of historical missions in various periods.Young people are a powerful force for the rejuvenation of the nation and undertake the historical mission of realizing the Chinese Dream of the great renewal of the Chinese nation.This requires them to develop a strong sense of responsibility.In this report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,President Xi Jinping announced that socialism with Chinese characteristics has crossed the threshold into a new era.This is a new historical juncture in China’s development,and it also means higher demands are placed on China’s youth.The cultivation of youth’s sense of responsibility is not only related to the overall development of individuals,but also related to the process of social development.Compared with the new requirements of socialist modernization,the new situation of economic and social development,and the new expectations of the youth,there are still many problems to be solved.Social existence determines social consciousness,and social consciousness is the reflection of social existence.The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 has posed a severe challenge to members of society,especially the young people who are brave enough to shoulder the important responsibilities of our times.Therefore,sorting out the measures taken during the epidemic prevention and control period can provide rich practical materials for the cultivation of young people’s sense of responsibility,and provide a good environment for the cultivation of
