| There are many cases of fake news in the course of the transformation and reorganization of China’s journalism in the new digital environment.The proliferation of fake news can cause serious social harm,misleading public opinion and damaging the authenticity of the news industry,thus undermining the credibility of the news media industry.In the era of the Internet,the flood of fake news is not unique to China,and the world has similar problems.But other countries have relatively well-developed theoretical systems and measures to avoid damaging the environment of the news media industry.As early as the early 1920’s,the US,with a professional team of journalists,set up a fact-checking website(Fact Check.org),opened a new beginning for the verification movement.In 2007,the Tampa Bay Times opened the Politi Fact website,the "Fact Checker" section of the Washington Post,and the "Story Full Inspection Site" in 2010.In Asia,Korean law stipulates that the press can be punished according to the law if it causes substantial harm to citizens and the public interest due to fake news.Although the regulations are scattered across a number of different laws,lacking concentration and integration,they are worth further examination.It is worth learning from the fact that South Korea has begun legislative efforts to establish a news fact-checking system.At present,social media in Korea is still expanding,so it is necessary to check the facts of social media news.At present,there are still three aspects of the checking of social media news fact: 1)the missing of the stipulation of the law: 2)the blankness of the authoritative news fact verification institution;and 3)the absence of the law’s emphasis on the truthfulness of the news.Based on the basic concepts and the legal system of our country,the author makes full use of the law to check the facts of social media in the U.S.,Korea and other countries,and then uses the relevant laws to establish the truth checking system to reduce the false news spread and provide a reliable environment for the people to check the truth of the news.The basic framework structure of this paper is as follows:Chapter one is an introduction,mainly to the present.The purpose and significance of the article are discussed.Chapter 2 News Facts on Social Media Check basic theories.Includes a reexamination and definition of social media concepts,a core of news facts.The definition of the checking system and the general meaning of the checking system of social media.Chapter three is to check the current status and shortcoming of legal regulation of social media news in China.Through the reform of social media news legislation and the exposition of social media facts,the shortcomings of the current law check of social media news facts in our country are found.Chapter four is the construction and implementation of social media fact checking system.The law and institution of social media in the U.S.and South Korea were analyzed and summarized.Chapter five is the perfect countermeasure for the checking of social platform news fact.Based on the existing shortcomings,the author puts forward some countermeasures for the construction of social media fact checking system in China. |
