| The empirical study of diplomatic news released on video platform originates from the current special political and technological environment.Century-old changes combined with century-old epidemics have created an unprecedentedly complex international political situation.The globalization of information and the rise of short video put forward new requirements for the production of diplomatic news.Based on this background,this paper takes the account of B station of Xinhua News Agency as the research object from the theoretical perspective of social constructivism and media presentation,adopts the method of combination of quantification and quality to analyze the full sample of 529 diplomatic news videos released by Xinhua News Agency in the past three years,hoping to reveal the internal presentation patterns and rules of diplomatic news from the perspective of media research.The research conclusion is as follows: Xinhua News Agency,through continuous diplomatic news,"reproduces" to its own people a diplomatic picture dominated by conflicts and interactions with the "central" power,and the topics are generalized.The reproduction strategies adopted are as follows: 1.Adhere to the right innovation.On the one hand,it focuses on self-acquisition,supplemented by multi-subject discourse,and attaches importance to event response.On the other hand,based on the platform,using playful expression and appropriate appeal to emotion.2.Scale big issues.The combination of typical reports and suggestive conclusions leads to the formation of thinking inertia;Topic superposition effect strengthens existing memory;Awaken the collective memory that serves the national conflict and drive the sense of national identity with emotion.3.Heavy use of generic frameworks weakens comprehension.After summary and discussion,the following suggestions are given: 1.Appropriately reduce the use of framework,and appropriately restore the complexity of diplomatic events;2.2.While focusing on arousing the sense of national honor and disgrace,it is vigilant against the evolution of populism;3.Actively cooperate with multiple subjects to enable content creation,while keeping the bottom line thinking to prevent the serious deconstruction caused by excessive pursuit of traffic.To sum up,this study believes that diplomatic journalism has the duality of social knowledge and ideology,and its production is subject to the political culture and media field of the country.This paper believes that the analysis of the presentation of diplomatic news media can help the public understand the world outside the empirical world,and stimulate the public’s critical consciousness and awareness of discrimination in receiving diplomatic news.The reason why this paper emphasizes this point is precisely because "the awakening and formation of critical consciousness is a very important aspect of the democratization of communication process". |
