Family-Driven:a Study On Social Work Practice Model Of Community Correction Under Family Culture

Community correction social work is an important field of social work.In recent years,the social work of community correction in China has been well developed in practice.With the increasing significance of local thought and cultural resources to the practice of local social work,the social work of community correction in our country has also begun to carry out a lot of practical work by using family cultural thought in practice,forming corresponding practical experience.At the same time also encountered some practical difficulties.However,the integration of these practical experience and practical wisdom and the response to the problem lag behind.Therefore,the construction of community correction social work practice model based on local practice is not only the proper meaning of the development of local community correction social work,but also has certain theoretical and practical significance.This study adopts qualitative research method,collected 38 practical materials on the use of home culture in Shanghai X institutions in recent years,and interviewed 8social workers.On the basis of analyzing and summarizing these data,this paper tries to construct the social work practice model of community correction under family culture.It is found that under the social structure and family differences between China and the West,community correction objects attach importance to the family,yearn for the support and acceptance of the family,and also face greater family pressure and more complex correction environment.Therefore,the current application of family culture in the practice of community correction social work is mainly reflected in the "icing on the cake" type of developmental service for the object of correction and its family and the "timely delivery of charcoal" type of repair service.It also faces some problems of cultural impedance and insufficient intervention.Based on the response and integration of these practical difficulties and practical experience,this study constructs a community correction social work practice model under the home culture with "family driven" as the service entry point."Family-driven" refers to the harmonious and united family as the driving force to change the object of correction,and the responsibility and expectation of the object to the family to drive its own change.Therefore,this model takes the family culture as the service guidance idea and the question analysis angle,puts the community correction object’s question in the traditional family culture vein and own life world,takes the social work three methods as the practice carrier,uses the family standard orientation,the harmony culture,the family instruction and so on discipline culture,the filial piety culture and so on content in the family culture,carries on the intervention to the community correction object’s family communication,the family relations,the family unity and the family upbringing and so on question,in order to realize the family harmony and forms the family driving force to promote the individual change,thus corrects its own emotion,the cognition and the behavior,in order to realize its re-socialization goal.At the same time,the service principle,service skill and ability elements of correcting social workers under home culture are summarized in order to effectively promote the realization of community correction social work practice mode under home culture.
