| At present,China is ushered in an era of very serious aging population trend,which has brought many problems and challenges to China’s social,economic,cultural and political civilization.Therefore,how to deal with the aging problem is worth noting.In this context,China’s domestic tourism industry is booming.Compared with the results of the domestic tourism survey over the years,we can know that the total consumption of domestic tourism is increasing year by year.Therefore,whether for the government or the tourism industry,it is very important theoretical significance to understand what impact the aging population will have on the development of China’s domestic tourism.According to the relevant literature research on the relationship between population aging and tourism,from the development status,characteristics and development trend analysis,the following empirical analysis is mainly to discuss whether population aging is a major influencing factor on the rapid development of domestic tourism industry.Based on this,this paper selects the time series data of 26 years from 1994 to 2019 to construct two autoregression distribution lag(ARDL)models respectively,one with the total domestic tourism consumption as the explained variable,the other taking the domestic tourism population as the interpreted variable,and using the ARDL boundary cointegration test method respectively.The results show that the aging population and the development of domestic tourism have both the total domestic tourism consumption and the domestic tourist population as the explained variable.According to the above conclusions,to promote the domestic tourism in the background of the aging population,the following aspects are necessary to improve the population development strategy to improve the population quality,the second,to develop the elderly tourism products with different needs,improve the income and the consumption capacity of the elderly tourism industry and promote economic development. |
