Research On The Problems Of Rural Discipline Inspection And Supervision Petition Work

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the central government has made remarkable achievements in punishing corruption with a zero tolerance attitude.Discipline inspection and supervision organs have been paid more attention because of their great role in the struggle of party conduct,clean government and anti-corruption.Petition work is the mass work,information work and supervision and discipline work carried out by discipline inspection and supervision organs through petition channels.It is the first procedure of discipline inspection and supervision work,and plays a very important role in Discipline Inspection and supervision work.For y County,where the total number of letters and visits has been running at a high level in recent years and the number of rural letters and visits accounts for a relatively large proportion,it is the top priority for the discipline inspection and supervision work of Y county to handle the rural letters and visits well.In recent years,the discipline inspection and supervision organization of Y county has improved the rural petition work by strengthening the petition supervision,information research and judgment,and case review,and achieved certain results.However,it can not be ignored that the current y County discipline inspection and supervision organizations are still facing the problems of large amount of rural letters and visits,repeated visits,leapfrog visits and unreasonable visits.Through the method of investigation and research,this paper comprehensively analyzes the basic data of petition work and the data obtained from the questionnaire,uses Coser’s social safety valve theory and Coleman’s rational choice theory,analyzes the reasons from the aspects of discipline inspection and supervision petition staff,petitioners,system and mechanism,and puts forward some countermeasures.
