Research On Existing Problems And Countermeasures Of Old Land-lost Farmers In X Town Of Changzhou

With the continuous advancement of industrialization and urbanization,many farmers have lost most or all of their land use rights and property rights.The emergence of a large number of land-lost farmers and the aggravation of aging make the ranks of the middle-aged and elderly land-lost farmers increasingly large.How to settle this special group,how to protect their rights and interests,meet their pension needs has become a social issue that can not be ignored.This paper selects X town from Xinbei district of Changzhou city as the research point,and takes the land-lost elderly as the research object to carry out a large number of field research,data collection and analysis.The survey found that after losing land,the lifestyle,physical condition and psychological state of the elderly in this town have changed a lot,and many new pension problems have emerged.They generally face problems such as low income level,heavy medical burden and poor integration of urban environment.At the same time,after losing the land,the number of "empty nesters" and "garage elders" has increased sharply,and the disabled and the demented elderly have fell into the pension dilemma.Based on analyzing the living conditions and existing problems of the elderly land-lost farmers and aming to improve their pension level,this paper proposes feasible opinions and countermeasures from four levels.The government must improve the level of old-age security,improve the living environment,enhance the function of towns-level old-age service,and give full play to the strength of the non-governmental organizations.In terms of the community,it should improve supporting facilities,actively carry out activities to help the elderly,and develop education for the elderly.From the family aspect,everyone should promote filial piety culture and adhere to the basic status of family pension.Finally,as individuals,the elderly themselves should adjust their mentality and actively participate in community activities.
