Study On Women’s Political Participation In The Early Stage Of Reform And Opening Up(1978-1995)

As an important link and content of women’s all-round development,women’s political participation is a symbol of measuring the civilization level of a country in an era,and also an indispensable part of the construction of socialist democratic politics in China.After the reform and opening up,from 1978 to 1995,women’s political participation in China was in the period of recovery and re-development after the Cultural Revolution.On the whole,women’s political participation of our country with the further development of reform and opening up,in the face of new opportunities and new challenges under the condition of glow vitality,especially in September 1995 after the fourth world conference on women held in Beijing,China’s women’s political participation has reached the period since the founding of the unprecedented brilliance.Therefore,1995 as a time node,1978-1995 is the peak of women’s political participation in China.During this period,women’s political participation in China was in a loose background.The Party and the government actively promoted the improvement of relevant laws and policies.As a result,women’s economic status was also improved due to the improvement of social and economic level.Under the basis of this,the status of the women’s political participation in China is very good,at the grassroots political life,enterprises and institutions,senior leadership positions have made historic achievements,the overall political power and political literacy has increased,in the fierce talent competition under the system more play to their own subjective initiative,initiative to improve themselves and strive for the opportunity.This shows that in a period of exploring the peak of women’s political participation,the political status of women in China has improved comprehensively and become a part of the construction of socialist democratic politics.Although there are still some problems restricted by The Times in some aspects,on the whole,the political outlook of women in China took on a new look during this period.To study the status of women’s political participation in this period is conducive to perfecting women’s political participation in contemporary China,giving full play to the role of women in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,and further promoting the progress and development of China in the new era.
