Syria’s quasi-alliance with Hamas was formed in the 1990 s.The formation and maintenance of the cooperative relationship between Syria and Hamas is derived from the formation of the security community and the complementary strategic interests of both sides. However, the unstable relationship between Syria and Hamas, the heterogeneity of values and political attributes between Syria and Hamas, and the containment and opposition of the United States and Israel constitute the main obstacles to the development of Syria’s relationship with Hamas. After the "Middle East upheaval ",the polarization and combination of the Arab camp forces and the continuous evolution of the conflict between the Syrian government and Hamas in the Syrian crisis led to the end of the diplomatic relations between Syria and Hamas quasi-alliance.At present,in the context of the withdrawal of the United States from Syria and its strategic contraction in the Middle East, the basis for maintaining cooperation between Syria and Hamas based on threats of security interests has been partially weakened, and with the adjustment of their respective diplomatic strategies,There are still many uncertainties in the repair of relations between Syria and Hamas.
