Policy Optimisation Of The Chinese Government’s Response To China-US Trade Friction

The world is facing unseen changes in a century.The world economic recovery is sluggish and the political situation is complex.Problems such as the economic downturn,the difficulty of reform and the transformation of industrial structure need to be solved urgently.Now we are faced with the problem of competition with developed countries.In the face of the complex social situation,the Chinese government needs to fully recognize the contradictions if it wants to successfully realize the current strategic policy.At present,China and the United States have a dispute of interest,which leads to the trade problems between China and the United States.The trade issues between China and the United States cover a wide range of areas,including economy,politics and culture.Guided by the public policy theory,this paper focuses on the analysis of the public policy issues in the trade friction between China and the United States.Taking history as a mirror,learning from the past frictions between other major countries and recognizing the current national conditions are very beneficial to the introduction of policies for the benefit of the country and the people.By means of literature review,and case analysis,the paper analyzes the history and contents of the trade friction between the United States and Japan,and analyzes the policy system of Japan to deal with the "plaza agreement".From the perspective of policy formulation implementation,evaluation and conclusion process,the paper presents the Japanese government’s policy to deal with the trade friction between the United States and Japan.This paper holds that the competition for power among the decision-making bodies in Japan leads to the dispersion of roles,the policies adopted by the decision-making bodies are not in line with the current policy environment,and the improper policy tools used lead to the failure.The trade friction between China and the United States is similar to the trade friction between the United States and Japan.This paper analyzes the history and contents of the trade friction between China and the United States in the new era,analyzes the policies adopted by the Chinese government,points out the effects and shortcomings of the current policies,and finally summarizes the policy reflection of the Chinese government based on the Japanese policy experience in the trade friction between the United States and Japan,and draws some enlightenment on the correct handling of the trade friction between China and the United States.This paper holds that China-US trade problem is a microcosm of policy respond between the Chinese government and the United States government.By studying US-Japan trade friction and analyzing the failed policies of the Japanese government,this paper draws a conclusion on how the Chinese government makes future public policies in the context of the current China-us trade friction.This paper uses historical document method and comparative research method as the guiding tools to sort out and compare the historical facts of trade friction between China-US and US-Japan,analyzes the Japanese policy of trade friction between the United States and Japan,and then forms a Japanese lesson.
