Prison is the executive organ of the state’s penalty."The combination of punishment and reform,with the purpose of reform" is the center and focus of prison work.One of the important contents of the "five major reforms" is educational reform,and vocational and technical education for criminals is also an important part of criminal education and Reform in China,which has extremely important practical significance.This paper focuses on the weak link of the prison to the criminals’ education and Transformation-Vocational and technical education,and it has strong practical significance to study the vocational and technical education of prisoners in prison.This paper analyzes the vocational and technical education of criminals from the perspective of prison,and analyzes the vocational and technical education of criminals based on the functions of prisons.From the perspective of the human nature of criminals,the basic situation of prisons and the development of "socialization" of prison vocational and technical education,this paper makes a comprehensive and in-depth interpretation and analysis.The study of Vocational and technical education of prisoners in prison is conducive to improving the basic professional skills and qualities of prisoners’ livelihood after the sentence is released,and to make them complete the smooth transformation from criminals to "social people",and to become law-abiding citizens and skilled workers,Thus,the ultimate goal is to reduce the rate of social recidivism,maintain social security and stability,and effectively reflect the effective play of prison education and reform functions.Based on the current situation of the reform and development of the prison system in SHANXI Province,this paper takes P prison in SHANXI Province as an example,focuses on the structure of problem cause countermeasure,and comprehensively uses the methods of literature research.Problem cause countermeasure to analyze the current situation of the vocational and technical education function of the prison,Some achievements have been made in criminal vocational and technical education,as a special group receiving education and Reform in the closed environment of prison,the whole prison has tried its best to protect its right to receive vocational and technical education.However,the following problems still exist in the development of Vocational and technical education in prison: the enthusiasm of criminals’ learning is not high,the teaching resources are lack,the teaching content is not targeted and practical,etc.After in-depth and systematic analysis,it is found that the above problems exist in the vocational and technical education of prison,mainly due to the criminal’s own learning willingness,prison supervision and teaching management system,lack of teachers and funds.Finally,in view of the above problems,the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the vocational and technical education in prison,The results are as follows: to improve the willingness of criminals to study actively,to establish the teaching management system of "Education Day",to improve the evaluation system of supervision points,to improve the incentive mechanism of rewards and punishments,etc.,in order to help the development of Vocational and technical education in SHANXI prison system,and to give full play to the important role of prison vocational and technical education for criminals,prisons and society.
