| Improving the rural living environment is a key task of implementing the rural revitalization strategy and an important way to improve the happiness index of rural residents.However,the problem of “government intervention and farmers’ watching” is still more prominent in the actual remediation process.Therefore,it is necessary to treat rural residents.Incorporate into the process of rural human settlement environment improvement,actively guide and support the participation of rural residents to promote the achievement of collective actions in the village,and to a certain extent reduce the difficulty of the village collective or grassroots government’s improvement.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how to mobilize rural residents to participate in the improvement of rural human settlements and effectively enhance the enthusiasm of rural residents to participate.This study takes social capital as the perspective,based on field investigations in some villages and towns in Guanzhong area of Shaanxi,and based on the guidance of a multi-dimensional theoretical system,through the establishment of mathematical analysis models,analyzes and studies the impact of social capital on farmers’ participation in the remediation of rural human settlements..Construct the indicator of each variable in social capital,and determine the weight of each variable through factor analysis,and use Probit and Tobit models to analyze the internal impact of social capital on farmers’ participation in the remediation of rural human settlements.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The social capital of farmers can promote farmers to participate in the improvement of rural human settlements.Among the various dimensions of social capital,the dimensions of social network,social trust,and social norms can effectively promote the participation of farmers in the improvement of rural human settlements.(2)The social network,social trust,and social norms of social capital can increase the willingness of farmers to participate in the improvement of rural human settlements,and promote farmers to participate in the improvement of rural human settlements with practical actions.(3)The complementary role of social capital and the government in the improvement of rural human settlements can be brought into play,the stock of rural households’ social capital can be cultivated,and the advantages of village committees and other grassroots community organizations in participating in the improvement of rural human settlements can be used to cultivate farmers to establish rural settlements.The master’s awareness and the promotion of rural economic ecology with talents promote farmers to participate in the improvement of rural human settlements. |
