As the actual supplier and potential demander of live pig insurance,the effective participation of the government is an important prerequisite for the balanced supply and demand and stable development of the live pig price insurance market.Based on large pig breeding in sichuan province county-nanbu county as the research object,first of all from the live pig price fluctuations asymmetric ARCH effect,their own live pig market imbalance between supply and demand,and stabilize farmers psychological expectations and the relative advantage of price insurance of government involvement in five aspects such as pig price insurance,analyzing the necessity of then,Based on the detailed introduction of the development experience of agricultural insurance at home and abroad,this paper constructs a logical analysis framework based on two types of agricultural sectors,and conducts theoretical and empirical research on the challenge of government participation in hog price insurance under this framework.Research suggests that,on the one hand,the government department of agricultural economy,including breeding,"laissez faire" and the traditional economies of scale in the western economics theory to promote cause the exclusion of small-scale farmers in the price of insurance market,and large scale farms with special status of live pig price insurance insufficient effective demand;On the other hand,the lack of government supervision and the imperfect market access conditions lead to excessive competition among the main suppliers of live pig price insurance.On this basis,this paper proposes that the traditional cognition of field agriculture and economic agriculture should be corrected from the macro perspective,and the "double-pillar" type pig price insurance system with mutual insurance and commercial insurance should be constructed.At the micro level,the product design of price insurance and the supervision efficiency of government departments should be optimized.Realize the unification of regulatory agencies and the diversification of regulatory objects,accelerate the construction of agricultural big data platform,and promote the development of pig price insurance with digital agricultural information technology.
