The suburban rural community is a product of the urbanization process. It covers the characteristics of population heterogeneity, spatial location integration, and transitional development. It is a transitional community between urban and rural areas.Due to the impact of comprehensive factors such as historical debts and unreasonable system design, the problems of lack of supply, inefficiency and lag in the supply of public services in suburban rural communities have become the main shortcomings restricting their development, resulting weak performance in the development process of integration in urban and rural areas.More importantly, the provision of public services in suburban rural communities is not only related to the satisfaction of residents’public service needs, but also related to lining to urban communities and the integration and coordination of heterogeneous populations in the communities. Therefore,it is very important for the development of suburban rural communities to discuss the optimization strategy of public service provision in suburban rural communities. On the basis of combing and summarizing the previous research results in related fields of this research topic and the historical changes and development of the public service supply system in suburban rural communities in China, guided by the basic theories of social stratification, institutional changes, and integrated governance, and through the investigation of practical cases, this paper holds that suburban rural communities are a transitional community with a complete urban community as its final evolution destination, and it is an experimental field and frontier for the integration of urban and rural basic public services. The supply of public services in suburban rural communities should reflect these characteristics and trends. Its supply content should be more demand-oriented,order superior and inferior, and based on the differences of service objects. It should pay special attention to the integration and reconstruction of the power structure, service resources and responsibility boundaries of multiple supply subjects, and give full play to the central subjective role of community residents in the field of community public service supply. |
