Abstract/Summary:
According to the 2021 National Civil Aviation Work Conference,the number of UAVs will reach 523600 at the end of 2020 in China.As the number of UAV registrations continues to increase,UAV users have also formed a huge group,and UAV-related crime cases have also emerged in endlessly,which brought unprecedented challenges to UAV electronic data forensics,including not only technical aspects,but also procedures and norms.In terms of forensic technology,due to the uncomplete theoretical research,existing applications and relevant software can hardly apply in UAV forensics aera.Based on this,the paper takes the concept and meaning of UAV electronic data forensics as an entry point,expounding the necessity of UAV forensics to find out the facts of the case.We take Dji Mavic Pro as the experimental object to conduct theoretical and practical research on the data extraction methods of flight platform system,ground control system and payload system.Through structural analysis and algorithm decryption of the main files contained in the UAV and related equipment,the program is designed in Python and automated forensics is achieved with the help of the Goldeneye framework.Meanwhile,we summarized the UAV electronic data forensics model.In terms of procedural norms,UAV forensics faces the dilemma of difficulty in guaranteeing the quality of evidence and imperfect legal regulations.On the basis of elaborate on the issue of forensics standards,this article proposes procedures for electronic data forensics of drones from fixed equipment to data extraction and analysis.Develop the training mechanism and legal response of professional forensics talents to provide reference for the improvement of my country’s electronic data forensics related laws and regulations.In order to realize the automation,legalization and standardization of UAV electronic data forensics,and achieve the following goals: 1.Make up for the weaknesses and blank areas of electronic data forensics;2.Enrich and improve the existing electronic data forensics theory and practical knowledge;3.Design UAV forensics procedures and realize automated forensics;4.Provide ideas for investigating criminal facts in the UAV field.
