With the increasing pressure of aging, the increasing social burden and social difficulties caused by aging not only lead to a significant decline in the quality of life of the current elderly group, but also a burden to the middle-aged group, which greatly reduces social vitality. At present, the research on the subjective well-being of the urban and rural elderly in my country is limited to the elderly group, the middle-aged group is often ignored, and the research that only focuses on the elderly group at this stage has a certain lag. Therefore, including the middle-aged group into the research scope, longitudinally considering the early influence of the middle-aged group and early intervention, considering the problem of aging from a developmental perspective, and formulating forward-looking policies will play a certain role in alleviating the pressure of aging. Therefore, this paper is not limited to the elderly group but also includes the middle-aged group into the study. While focusing on aging, the unbalanced economic and social development between urban and rural areas has resulted in a low level of development of subjective well-being among middle-aged and elderly people in urban and rural China.Compared with middle-aged and elderly men,middle-aged and elderly women are at a disadvantage in terms of physical fitness and social environment. The level of social security, quality of life and subjective well-being are all at low levels. This study focuses on the current situation of subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women in my country under the social background of deepening aging, and explores the differences in subjective well-being between urban and rural middle-aged and elderly women from the perspective of formal social support and informal social support. In order to further understand the impact of social support on the subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women in urban and rural areas, this paper conducts an empirical analysis of the data from the 2018 China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Survey(CHARLS).Using life satisfaction to measure and analyze subjective well-being.The influence mechanism of formal social support and informal social support on the subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women in urban and rural areas was analyzed. On the other hand, literature research and case analysis are used to summarize and supplement research,in order to provide valuable reference for the government to improve the social security system, improve the level of social support and subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women in urban and rural areas.Combined with empirical analysis,in order to improve the subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women at the national system level,at the social level,at the community level, and at the family level, from the perspective of social support, this paper puts forward policy suggestions for improving the subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women in the social security system. The point is that the2018 cross-sectional data sample of the China Health and Retirement Tracking Survey Database is selected as the research basis, and the observation information obtained has a certain lag.
